Giving Full Play to the Value of MTI Talents to Promote the Integration of School-enterprise Production

       and Research: President Cai Shaohong of MTI Led a Team to Investigate 

   the Production Line of Moutai Group

On June 6, Mr. Cai Shaohong, President of Moutai Institute, led a team of doctors to conduct a survey in the production line of Moutai Group, aiming to learn more about the production and management of Moutai liquor, and to have a discussion with the production management department of the Group on MTI’s work on industry, education and research. Ms. Yu Li and Mr. Tian Wuxu, vice presidents of MTI, accompanied the investigation.

First, the team came to the Packaging Workshop to learn about the packaging process and each link process, and had in-depth exchanges with the packaging workshop staff to have a better understanding of the packaging production. The Packaging Workshop of the Group, as the last link of Moutai liquor production, has an integrated automatic production line ranging from bottle washing, canning to labeling, inspection, and bundling.

Then, Mr. Cai and the team came to Workshop 15 of Liquor Making of the Group, communicated with the liquor makers who were in the process of brewing, and learned about the liquor making process in detail.

Afterwards, an exchange symposium was held in the Production Management Department of the Group. Mr. Chen Guilin, secretary of the general party branch and deputy director of the Production Management Department, and Mr. Mou Mingyue, deputy secretary of the general party branch and deputy director of the Production Management Department, attended the symposium.

During the exchanges between the two parties, Mr. Cai focused on the implicit and explicit values of MTI, and pointed out the importance of MTI to Moutai Group. He said that the establishment of MTI reflects the foresightedness of the Group and the great responsibility of Moutai as a large enterprise; MTI is the cultural communication window and important publicity approach of the Group, so developing MTI with high quality is more conducive to enhancing the brand value of Moutai.

Mr. Cai said that the integration of industry and research at MTI needs strong support from the Production Management Department, hoping to work closely with the Production Management Department to make due contributions to the company. The cooperation between the Production Management Department and MTI can promote the transformation and application of research results, which not only trains the ability of MTI’s scientific research team, but also solves some practical problems of the Production Management Department.

Mr. Chen pointed out that MTI is an application-oriented university with the purpose of talent cultivation to solve practical problems. The establishment of MTI by the Group is one of the things that must be done after the enterprise develops to a certain height.

Mr. Chen said that the problems encountered in the Production Management Department need to be jointly studied and solved with MTI. At the same time, it is hoped that through the platform of MTI, more application-oriented experts from the company can go to the podium and teach young college students the practical experience of Moutai production and management. The Production Management Department will provide the best service for the integration of production, education and research at MTI.

Heads of General Affairs Office, Culture Publicity Office, Academic Research Office, Educational Administration Office, Internship & Training Center, and teaching departments of MTI participated in the survey.
