On May 16th, Mr. Li Zengchi, Executive Vice President of MTI, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) remotely with John MacKinnon, Assistant Vice President of Cape Breton University in Canada. The two universities reached a consensus on teachers exchange and academic cooperation, and the signing of the MOU marks the establishment of long-term friendly cooperation between the two universities, which is of great significance to improve the talents cultivation, disciplines construction and scientific research of both sides. According to the MOU, the two universities will have in-depth cooperation in undergraduate students exchange, academic exchanges and cooperative running schools to promote the special talents cultivation.
Cape Breton University, established in 1953, is a comprehensive public university in Canada. It is the first university in Canada to offer a combination of arts, science, technology and trade, which ranked 18 in the 2020 Maclean’s Ranking of Canadian Primary Universities.
