Introduction to Students’ Associations
Yunze Hanfu Association
Yunze Hanfu Association was officially established on September 9th, 2018 on the Double Ninth Festival. It aims to “show the etiquette by dressing the traditional Han Costume”. Based on the rich Han Costume culture, it aims to expand students’ vision, enrich campus culture, cultivate students’ interest in learning traditional culture, and improve their self-cultivation and cultural self-cultivation. In the future, the Association will continue to uphold the spirit of “contributing to the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation through self-cultivation and cultural etiquette” so as to embrace a better future.
Badminton Club
The Badminton Club of Moutai Institute was established in September 2017. It is a large sports association integrating entertainment, fitness and teaching. Since its establishment, it has been supported by the Institute and popular among students. The Club regularly holds badminton training activities to provide an optimal platform for badminton lovers to learn and exercise.
Roller Skating Club
The Roller Skating Club of Moutai Institute was established on March 5th, 2019. Based on the principle of serving students, the Club actively organizes various roller skating activities to help students learn basic skills related to skating. The Club carries out training activities and basic roller skating teaching every week, aiming at helping novice members to learn roller skating and better understand the sports. Besides, we also teach students some basic roller skating skills. The Club is like a flying swallow, flying in the vast campus, where students can find their youth on the galloping wheel.
Social Practice Association
The Social Practice Association of Moutai Institute was established in September 2017. It is a practical association for students to guide them to participate in activities related to social practice. Students can conduct social investigation in combination with professional characteristics, and actively pay attention to social phenomena with academic skills and social practice. With the purpose of “serving the society based on the Institute”, we encourage more college students to actively pay attention to the development of Renhuai City. Combined with the knowledge taught in the school, students can actively participate in social practice and conduct social investigation, achieving the purpose of learning for application. Besides, they can learn in the process of serving the society, improve their comprehensive quality and ability, and enhance the effect of Moutai Institute on Renhuai City.
Mo Xuan Calligraphy Club
Mo Xuan Calligraphy Club of Moutai Institute, founded in October 2017, is a club for art and interest with more than 80 members. The Club consists of students from various majors including both arts and science. Therefore, they can learn from each other in the Club. Based on the calligraphy, learning traditional culture can enrich the students’ college life after class. The Club has always been adhering to the tenet of “inheriting the tradition and advocating the new, pursuing virtues and improving ability”, and advocating the idea of “learning the essence of calligraphy, cultivating the spirit of art, and understanding the way of life”. Through holding on-site counseling, calligraphy competitions, calligraphy works exhibitions and other activities, the Club has made great efforts to create a lively and civilized campus cultural atmosphere.
Basketball Club
The Basketball Club of Moutai Institute was established in November 2017. In order to enrich students’ campus life, inherit the sports spirit and share the success of competition, the Club actively carries out basketball activities including 3v3 campus competition and shooting skills competition. The Club insists on arranging regular training activities, organizing training for members who are interested in improving their basketball skills every Monday and Wednesday, organizing all members to participate in night running every Tuesday and Thursday, and conducting relevant training for referees at weekends. What’s more, the Club also holds basketball friendship matches with other colleges and clubs outside the Institute, aiming to help students keep away from online games, step out of the dormitory to participate in sports, and encourage them to constantly improve themselves.
Hongyi Handicraft Club
Hongyi Handicraft Club of Moutai Institute, established in October 2018, aims to promote traditional handicraft culture and inherit the spirit of handicraft culture. Since its establishment, the Club has been supported by the leaders, teachers and students of the Institute, and for sure it will live up to the expectations of all. The Club has won the honorary title of Excellent Association of Moutai Institute, standing out among numerous associations in the Institute. Therefore, the Club is a cohesive and active association which promotes the charm of Chinese culture through the active exchange of handicraft culture. In the long-standing traditional Chinese culture, it has the cultural confidence in appreciating liquor mellow and fragrant flavor, adhering to the national confidence of our brilliant culture.
Chunyu Gardening Club
Chunyu Gardening Club of Moutai Institute, established in September 2018, is a practical association for students. Through combining local climate investigation and protection of local unique or highly ornamental plants, it aims to improve students’ awareness of protecting natural plant ecology, and introduce new varieties of horticultural plants for breeding and further crossbreeding. The Club gathers the students who love plants, trying to show everyone the good plants with appreciation value so that everybody can feel the natural beauty.
MT Drama Club
MT Drama Club of Moutai Institute, established in October 2017, is a drama club for college students across the campus. It aims to perform drama, crosstalk, sketch, opera and other literary and artistic programs. The Club does not necessarily comprise excellent artistic performers, but all members have the confidence and responsibility in serving teachers and students wholeheartedly. The slogan of the Club is “Interpreting life on the stage, and composing dreams with youth”. It is like a family full of love. Up to now, it has won favorable comment from the teachers, students and the community with its main representative works, such as the short drama “A Mountain Long Long Ago”, the psychological stage play “Monster”, the original cross-talk “Gourmet Party”, the original historical stage play “Hope”, the emotional stage drama “Hello, Li Huanying” and “All Is Well”, the two-man comic show “Not Satirical Doctor”, the sketch “Swordsman: Xiaoao Jianghu”, the pantomime “Security Check”, the crosstalk “Selling Ginseng” and so on.
MPC Computer Association
MPC Computer Association of Moutai Institute, established in October 2018, originally aimed to provide a platform for the computer enthusiasts in the Institute to exchange ideas and communicate with each other. The Association is mainly engaged in organizing basic classroom training and characteristic activities, aiming at cultivating students’ interest and ability of computer technology. It organizes a systematic training once a week, and the heads of various departments will share in-depth research in their own fields, including hardware and software maintenance primary teaching, design training, front-end training, Java training, back-end training, etc. In addition, after every night of self-study during the weekday, the person in charge will take turns to answer questions in the computer classroom of the Association.
HR Dance Club
HR Dance Club of Moutai Institute, established in September 2017, aims to attract students who love dancing, enrich their extracurricular life, and provide a stage for them to show themselves through dance. The Club gathers an army of dance lovers, where students can pursue their hobbies and struggle for what they love. There are five kinds of dance in the Club: Breaking, Korean Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin and Classical Dance. In the Club, members are friendly, positive, and full of enthusiasm to participate in both large and small evening party to welcome newcomers. In each big or small activity, members would prepare a lot of surprises, giving warmth and love to each other, just like a big family of unity and friendship.
GRM Music Club
GRM Music Club of Moutai Institute, established in September 2017, aims to gather a group of young people who love music, providing a platform for them to play music and make progress together. We have held street performances on campus and hold some small gatherings from time to time. Through these activities, we hope the members can know more about each other.
International Culture Association
The International Culture Association is one of a diverse student group in MTI. International Culture Association, or ICA for short, dedicates to deliver a multi culture sphere around the campus, to cope with the desperate needs for students learning English and exoticism. Now there are two incoming programs taking place every week. One is lecture for studying abroad, and the other is more of a relaxing talk show.
